BREAKING NEWS!

Posted by Todd Pomerleau | Jan 29, 2022 | 0 Comments

Attorneys Jeffrey B. Rubin and Todd C. Pomerleau are honored to announce we have been scheduled to present oral argument on February 25, 2022 before the Board of Immigration Appeals in Falls Church, Virginia on a case of national importance for tens of thousands of immigrants placed into removal proceedings.

The case involves whether immigration courts must dismiss cases upon timely objection by the respondent when a Notice to Appear is missing a time or place in violation of Rubin | Pomerleau's 8-1 Supreme Court victory in Pereira v. Sessions (2018).

The BIA rarely holds oral argument (maybe once or twice a year). We cannot wait to fight against yet another violation of immigrants' rights during this unique opportunity.
